Zapier

Use Zapier to send the leads your assistant captures, including booking requests, to your preferred destination. Zapier's app marketplace includes over 7,000 integrations. Here are a few examples of where you can send requests from your website and Google business profile

  • Google Spreadsheets - send leads to a shared spreadsheet
  • Your preferred Field Service Management Platform, or CRM
  • Text Alerts - Be alerted via text when you receive a new request

Before you start​

  • Your plan must include the Zapier integration. If it doesn't, Zapier can't connect or pull leads. Contact support@xapp.ai to check.
  • Have your Application ID ready. It's the last part of your Studio URL: https://studio.xapp.ai/[your company id]/[your app id]. See How do I find my application ID?
  • You can also open Zapier from Integrations in Studio by selecting the Zapier card.

Create a Zap and connect your Zapier account to XAPP AI

In Zapier, search for the XAPP AI app.

When Zapier asks, sign in with your XAPP AI Studio account and paste your Application ID, without any leading or trailing slashes.

Setup a Trigger​

Choose the New Lead event. It fires for every completed lead your assistant captures, including booking requests.

Integrate the lead from XAPP​

We'll walk through a simple example sending the lead to a Google spreadsheet. You can create numerous integrations based on this sample.​

  • Make sure you have a spreadsheet created
  • Set the headers to Lead, Transcript, Added
  • Create an action that takes the lead from XAPP, and posts it to a new row on the spreadsheet

Map the lead to your destination​

  • In the Zap's trigger, select Test trigger (or Load more) to pull in your most recent leads
  • Map the lead to your destination, in this case we'll map to a column in the spreadsheet.

A test lead needs a name and either a phone number or an email address. Leads without them, unfinished conversations, and test submissions from your booking page are not sent to Zapier.

Lead fields​

Each lead arrives with these values to map:

Common Issues​

Unable to pull leads - "No app found with App ID" (formerly "Cannot read properties of undefined")​

If Zapier can't pull leads, the most common cause is an incorrect application ID entered when you connected. This is easy to correct.

  1. Find your application ID. You can find this under your businesses settings page or directly from the URL. See How do I find my application ID?. Note it should not have any leading or trailing slashes.

  2. Click on the "XAPP AI" starting node and select the three dot menu under "Account". Then click "Reconnect"
